Virat Kohli did not nurdle his way to history. He ran at Gudakesh Motie, met an 87.2kph floater on the half-volley and lofted it over long-on as if the fielders behind him were not there. That six was Kohli’s 55th ODI hundred, and it arrived the way Thiruvananthapuram  crowd had come to see it.
