She then served her residency in ophthalmology at Howard University Hospital (2008 - 2011), fellowship in glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ( 2011 - 2012), and fellowship in cataract and refractive surgery at Koch Eye Laser Vision Centers (2015 - 2016).
Subsequent to his training, Dr. Myeni acquired board certification in ophthalmology from the American Board of Ophthalmology. The American Board of Ophthalmology is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America. Founded in 1916, the ABO was the first American Board established to certify medical specialists. Dr. Myeni is currently licensed to practice medicine in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Texas, Maryland, and Maine.
