"FEED OUR LOCAL HEORES" - Giving Back to the Community

Saint Cloud, Apr 17, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Huntington Learning Center of St. Cloud, FL wanted to show their appreciation to the local medical professionals who have been putting their lives on the frontline.

Huntington Learning Center of St. Cloud, FL is a new supplemental education center recently opened its door to all the students in the St. Cloud and Osceola County. "We have been very fortunate to serve the St. Cloud community, where I think this kind of personalized supplemental education programs are very much in need, especial during the COVID-19 pandemic and school closures," said Debbie Delgado, Assistant Center Director and a homegrown "St. Cloud proud" resident.

We see many of our students' parents serve in the medical field in St. Cloud and continue to put their lives before ours during this outbreak. We wanted to do something for them to thank them for their dedication. "Our boss has been very supportive of giving back to our community, especially now.... So we reached out to one of the neighbor's favorite Italian restaurants here in St. Cloud, Bella Roma, to join forces in a campaign we called "Feed Our Heroes," Debbie continued, "we were able to serve nearly 400 medical professionals at the St. Cloud Regional Medical Center and brought many smiles! We know this is a small effort, but we hope to bring hopes and inspirations to others to give back to the community we serve and love".  

Huntington Learning Center's efforts to give back to the community is a story to be recognized as it reminds us that all of us can contribute, in different ways and at a different scale. We hope this pandemic comes to an end very soon and brings communities around the nation closer together as we experience through this unprecedented history together.
