December 5, 2019 / / —

There is something magical about a small-scale live steam train working its way around a garden. Perhaps it is something to do with the excitement of seeing the train coming around a corner or maybe it is the joy of having something of historical value. Whatever the reason, British Live Steam has noticed an increase in interest over the last few years from countries around the globe. This is why they are so pleased to announce that they have now launched a brand new online store and can ship their products around the world.

The site is the perfect home for all model steam train enthusiasts. The latest models scroll across the top of the home page, with scale models of the Newcastle Flyer and the classic 5” 14xx live steam taking centre stage. Scrolling down, it quickly becomes clear that these are not the only gems on offer as the British Live Steam favourites are revealed.

Navigating the site couldn’t be easier and list of categories can be found right at the very top of the page. From here, users can navigate to the correct gauge for their tracks including gauges 1, 3, 5” and 7.25”. To find out more about each train, users can simply click on the image and discover more in-depth details from the liveries available right through to fuel type and run time. There is plenty of information on each page for customers to make an informed decision when choosing their engine. The site also offers a range of parts and accessories, including passenger carts, as well as stand alone engines.

British Live Steam prides itself on fast delivery times and outstanding quality. Every train comes with a warranty and it’s clear from the testimonials that their customers are very happy with the high level of detail afforded to each train. Customers can also sign up for the newsletter for the latest updates on new products and they can always get in touch for more information, including product pricing, club pricing or to arrange an inspection of any of our locomotives.
